Brooks Built Homes is a limited liability licensed light commercial and residential general contracting company. We provide construction management and general contracting services for small to medium sized single family and multi-family residential projects.

Bakari Brooks
CEO-Owner
Bakari Brooks is the managing member of Brooks CM Services, LLC (“BCMS”) and
Brooks Built Homes (“BBH”), responsible for implementing the vision and
mission of both companies which includes construction management and general contracting services for small to medium sized single family and multi-
family residential projects and small commercial projects. Bakari formed BCMS
as a Georgia limited liability company in December 2014 with over 25 years of
residential and commercial construction experience. He subsequently created
BBH in 2020 to focus exclusively on residential construction projects. Brooks
Built Homes is also a certified EarthCraft builder and a listed company on Dunn
& Brad Street.
Prior to starting both companies, Bakari served as the Strategy and Systems
Development Manager for the Atlanta Housing Authority (“AHA”) responsible
for the overall planning, development and implementation of agency-wide
policies and procedures. In addition, he served as the intergovernmental liaison
with the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, DeKalb County and other Local, City and
State agencies. Bakari was also responsible for identifying and securing funding for infrastructure initiatives for
AHA residential developments valued at over $75 million. He was also was responsible for the implementation of
several of the agencies multi-family and single-family development initiatives, including oversight, planning, permitting and construction.
Bakari remains engaged in local planning initiatives such as the Atlanta Beltline and Livable Centers Initiatives
throughout the City of Atlanta. He is an active member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and
lives in Smyrna, GA. Bakari Brooks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Finance and
Marketing from Syracuse University and a Masters of Engineering in Construction Management from the State
University of New York at Buffalo.
Demetria White
Executive Assistant, Office Manager
Demetria White is no stranger to real estate. Her successful career as a real estate industry professional, began after graduating from Wright State University. Upon relocating to Atlanta, GA, she was introduced to the captivating world of mortgage banking. Demetria's interest to become an investor developed, she formed an investment company and focused her attention on buying and selling residential foreclosed properties. During the 2008 crash, a commercial business opportunity presented itself. Demetria seized the opportunity and entered the commercial real estate arena. Her background spans across residential and commercial real estate banking and investing. Demetria enjoys spending time with her family, interior decorating, watching movies and traveling.
Jaymie Lewis
Interior Designer
Inspired by the challenge of turning a homeowner's dream into a reality, Jaymie creates beautiful, functional spaces that reflect a keen eye for detail. Her love of clean lines, soothing neutrals and interesting layers tells a story that draws on both modern and traditional interiors. Jaymie's love of travel, family and stylish spaces allows her to feel at ease in creating a home that reflects her clients' taste, desires and lifestyle.
Bruce Price
Business Development
Bruce Price serves clients as a Luxury Dream Home Consultant in metro-Atlanta market. He works with clients who have chosen to build a luxury custom home, by serving as a concierge to support the end-to-end process of building a home. Bruce helps clients by easing the fear uncertainty and doubt of the building process for first time home builders to repeat clients.
He engages clients early in the process to understand, desires, lifestyle, and budget. Bruce consults and guides the client through all the mission critical steps of the design/build process, resulting in an exceptional customer experience.
Bruce is known as a confident professional business communicator with inspirational and motivational presentation and coaching skills. He is a dynamic leader who has been very effective in helping clients build their luxury custom dream homes.
Jarrell Alexander
Project Manager
Jarell is a construction project manager with over 12 years of experience in construction. His primary role is to oversee all project management matters, throughout all phases of project development and construction process. He manages a team of tradesman and skilled personnel to successfully complete each home while exceeding our clients’ expectations. Jarell’s goal is to make sure the end user receives a quality and functional product that aligns with the original desires of our clients.
Jarell has an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Morehouse college and a graduate degree from the University of Georgia.
Robert E. Koch Jr. AIA
Registered Architect
Robert Koch is the owner, architect, and driving force behind Robert Koch Designs a strategic design partner with Brooks Built Homes. Robert knew he wanted to be an architect from a young age and earned his architecture degree in 2000 from one of the country’s top architecture schools, Kansas State University. Over the course of his 20+ year career, Robert has worked at both large and small firms and has experience in both commercial and residential design.
The majority of his career has been focused on creating well designed, custom homes. Since founding Robert Koch Designs in 2009, he has completed over 75 custom homes and renovations. Robert is a Registered Architect in the state of Georgia.
Chris Malone AIA
Registered Architect
Chris Malone is the owner, architect, and driving force behind Chris Malone Designs, a strategic design partner with Brooks Built Homes. Chris is focused on creating a space that our clients will love. With an emphasis on listening and having open dialogue with our customers to ensure we capture all of the requirements to help design your dream space. Chris has a passion for the details and makes sure that all the spaces he creates are functional and have a purpose, while also making them unique to you.
